Perianal Fistula

Has anybody out there had any experience with this medical condition? My LCGS has been under going treatment for this condition going on three weeks, and still have another three weeks of treatment left. Odd, I have not ever heard of this before but according to my vet, it is very common, effecting almost 80% of the German shepard breed.


Treatment involves Prednisone (hate),Omeprazone, and Azathioprine.
