"Closed" threads

I think it's a pity that many threads are closed because of people going off-topic and fighting. This isn't fair towards the topic starter.
Why not remove the concerned posts and leave the thread open?

have thought of that in case of your thread, in another thread I pulled some post. Kinda depends how far it went, before I (or the other moderators) see it. Will reconsider your thread, and what to do about it.
