In the thread about keeping a vehicle cool for your dog, a few people mentioned window guards that prevent a dog from jumping out if the windows drop.

Where would I find such a creature? I have a 2003 quad cab dodge ram n I'd love to have something over the back window to be able to open the whole window instead of just 4" at the top with the guard I have now.

Another suggestion (because I doubt you'll find one specifically made to your truck's dimensions) is to contact a welding business near you. I'm sure it'll be as much or maybe even less for a welder to make a custom barrier for your truck. You'll need one that bolts to the door frame.
