I'm sure many of you have seen this, what do YOU think his problem is?

I heard they tied a string to the dogs paw to get the dog to do that. If that's true, then I think the dog is just getting pissy because someone is messing with his paw, if it's not true, the dog has psychological problems and is unfortunately placed in a home where people encourage and find amusing doggy quirks. I know people who will chase their dog around with a pumpkin if they realize the dog is scared of a pumpkin, rather than building the dogs confidence and getting the dog to be OK with the pumpkin. It's sad, but most people find a dogs quirks amusing and encourage it rather than working thru it.

If it isn't a set up situation as Mike described, it's a serious case of OCD. Either way, the owners need a kick in the head for allowing it to continue.
Because of the angle and movement of the leg, I suspect it's a set up. That's a happy hour head kick, IMHO!

Even if it's a set up with a string it's not funny. I play with my own dogs by hitting them with their tails and they go after ME, not the tail! If the dog is so food aggressive it can't allow its own PAW to touch its bone, those owners have a major problem. Plus, if you've seen the entire picture, there are two porky little boys standing behind the chair the dog is on while it's being filmed. What if that dog went after one of THEM like that?

It's obvious to me that this is a rather poor set of parents all around...for both fur AND skin kids!
I'm with the set-up thing. I've seen dogs attack their paws/tails when eating, but never putting that limb in place to attack.
