What are YOUR favorite dog movies for the family?

My list is pretty much all Disney movies...
The Fox & The Hound
Lady & The Tramp
Old Yeller
Homeward Bound
Oliver & Company (yes, I know it's really about a cat, but still...)

On ebay you can usually find movies from the 70's "doberman gang" collection... I believe there were 3 movies made. its kinda slow n cheesey typical 70s style but I enjoyed the 2 I bought. About guys who trained dobermans to rob a bank. Dunno if kids have the attention span for it but definitely worth seeing if you like dobies!

Hi, Matthew!! Great book, too.
"Where the Red Fern Grows" Which I guess is about as cheesy as "Old Yeller" which both made my cry.

Me too.
K-9 WITH JERRY LEE

Sometimes when people start to interfer with my OB class in the park, I tell them that my dog's name is " Jerry Lee" and they start giving commands, " Jerry Lee sit. Jerry Lee down". Matrix just looks at them and says, " stupid humans again".

A couple of days ago, I pulled out 'Old Yeller' for the gazillionth time. It STILL doesn't come out the way I want it to.
As far as 'Where the Red Fern Grows'.........well.....I just can't talk about it right now.
ps. The sequil to WTRFGs sucks!
I read where the red fern grows so many times my 7th grade teacher read it, then read it to the class.

I have the sequel as well.....Sucks bad.

Sad, sad, sad. That story almost makes me like hounds...
Hounds are great dogs.......when they are ten maybe. Before that, it's SEE YA! all the time.
