The vet said definitely 3... Probably 4 and maybe more... so I wait.

It IS hard work.......and I personally did litters of one only (humans, I mean).

When can you tell what color they will be? Or is it apparent right off?

Connie... if I have been correctly informed. Most GSD are born black and grow into their colors. Both the father and Marsha are Red and Black so I suspect they will end up Red and Black dogs.... or maybe kittens. :eek:

She has delivered 4 now. 2 boys and 2 girls

:p Why do puppies look like kittens anyway? Is mother nature trying to mess with me?

Congratulations to both you and Marsha, is she done now? 4's the total? You needa be flooding the photo gallery section of this board with photos as they grow up... :D :D

I think so :lol: Mom and babies are doing great. We ended with 4, which is pretty good for a first litter.

I am so impressed with the number of people who have joined this forum. In only 3 days... 486 Posts. That is amazing. Great movement Mike!
