oh I hate when that happens. I have a problem with squirrels & my cable. They are constantly chewing the wires (on the telephone pole), so the cable guy has to come out here & replace parts of the cable every 5 - 6 months  Do you tivo? I do, and especially now since I seem to be spending primetime at the computer.

No, but it wouldn't work with no signal anyway, would it?

I want it, though!!!!

Probably not, I just sort of changed the subject without starting a new paragraph  . Tivo is great, but it really spoils you. I can rarely tolerate commercials anymore, soI never watch anything at the time it's actually on. The one commercial I watched was when I called Tic Tic the Mal, a Dutchie. Hey, I come by my (now dishwater, partially gray) blonde hair naturally!

Yesterday, I noticed the "Arts & Entertainment" cable channel showed 2 dog programs guaranteed to rile people up. One was called "Dangerous Dogs", & the other was about the trial in California where the lady was mauled to death by the Pressa Canario (sp) dogs. Shows like these always scare me because they seem to kick up the dust & all the politicians want to jump on the breed ban wagon.

I go back and forth about shows like this because on the one hand people can blame the breed...but on the other, they get to see the absolute loons who own these animals and maybe understand that it's the people raising them...it's kind of a mixed bag. I have not seen the program to which you refer, but if you remember (hopefully they showed this), those two presa owners in SF were real scum. And National Geographic didn't do that Ovcharka breeder or that ridiculous Ovcharka owner (the one they showed getting dragged out into the street as his dog keyed up on baby strollers and cars passing by) any favors in editing. But I realize it's just as easy for someone to watch that same program and walk away thinking Ovcharkas should not be allowed.

I kind of wonder myself sometimes...I think Ovcharkas are gorgeous and amazing but no way would I have one in the house, and I would be seriously pi$$ed if one of the bright bulbs in my neighborhood got one because they read about it in Soldier of Fortune.
