Elly Elsenaar sent me this article in dutch, to save the hassle of translating, I found an English version of it. How stupid is this? The police department wants to put a perfectly healthy police dog down at retirement!!!

A happy ending. Even though not being able to have a home with the ex-handler, the dogs life is save to be placed in a working position. *happy* The whole situation was sad to begin. No reason to put a dog down because a couple snips which were the handlers fault(he stated). The pictures look nice.
