I live in southern california about 30 mins east of la and have been to all the clubs and training centers that I can find in the area and am looking to see if there are any others that I am not aware of. I am also looking for people locally that can become contacts that I can share products ect with.

There are a number of groups that train at Pete Medina's field in Riverside. Pete's club is Golden State but I think there are a couple of groups that use the field. I was meeting my decoy up there to do FR training, but he just left for a month at Dean Calderon's so we'll probably be heading to Long Beach to train instead until he gets back.

I train in Acton, and try to travel down to Pete Medina's field once a month or so. I train sometimes with Kadi's decoy [you like that Kadi, Mark is YOUR Decoy- lol] and I also use Lionel Madden from Golden State SchH Club at times. Prior to 2005 Nationals I trained some with Al Banuelos, all over Southern California!

In addition to that, we've been known to head to San Jose to train, and Arizona as well. Have dogs, will travel to train!

Ya i will probably start going out to Pete's place although my friend Dana keeps inviting me to come down to long Beach and train there. Michelle we should start a good club up this way. I mean you have der hundersport but that is still an hour from me, so basically what I am saying Is I need to start a club in my back yard. Oh wait I already have that, just no other members.

Greg I'm not a Der Hundesport Klub member, I train with Southwest Working Dog Assn. in Acton. And I also have a training field in my backyard! ;-)

Two and a half hours twice a week. I used to do that when I was single and starting out in Schutzhund. That is what I would have to drive now to train Ring, and with a family now, not to mention an ancient van, I'm just not that motivated.

But maybe when my daughter gets a bit older, it will be something I do. So for now, it's Schutzhund.
