don't let PETA see these pics!! my oldest dogs (hate coyotes) would be ALL OVER that skin! my pup--who knows? but it'd be interesting to see...

PETA might surprise you and buy this pup. Beats throwing fake blood on fur-wearing models.

interesting, i wonder how long it will last...
John has had that darn thing for at least a year now, and it's been through a couple of litters of pups. Don't know how often he uses it with bigger dogs, but I know he plays with his pups with it. I'd assume it will last quite awhile, kind of like those sheepskin tug toys you can get for dogs. The ones with really thin cut pieces don't last long at all, but if you get one that is 4-6 inches wide they have a pretty good lifespan, especially if they aren't used with adults.

Whoa, that's something new! LOL

My friend that trains **** dogs plays with the puppies with the racoon skins like that when they reach the end of the track. But a **** hound doesn't have quite the grip of a malinois ;)

Common with training racing terriers.
I've used a beat up old groundhog pelt for years.
Little bassads are mini-maligators.
