What do you think? Legitimate proposal or a big spoof?

if I had kids in school, i'd be getting them bulletproof backpacks. seriously. :)

That just promotes more backpack use. Not the message we want to send. There is no reason for any backpacks to be at a school.
I am. Decided to quit being selfish and I dropped my evil black backpacks off at the local PD. No one was available, so I just left them in the lobby. Good riddance.
:lol::lol::lol:
There's no reason people should own backpacks. Especially black ones. They're hard to fill, they're difficult to use.
+1 Death to all Backpacks!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with all those crazy backpack lovers is they are just not willing to compromise. We dont want all your backpacks, just the high capacity pressure cooker carrying ones with click release strap. Oh and black ones. You can still have Hello Kitty ones and high visability ones, we just need them to be registered. The only other thing we think is appropriate is universal background checks. You dont need black backpacks for hunting.

listen man,,,are they REALLY high capacity, or are they just normal capacity for what they are? yeah sure, when compared to a fanny pack,,all of them are high capacity...I still say ban all backpacks though

Why isnt anyone thinking of the children?????

I agree! I think it's bias that they can't drink and drive by the time they are 10 - 12 yrs old. It would also give my grandkids a way to haul those damn heavy back packs of theirs. I'm afraid those things will be a terrible influence on them.
