amanda--w/dobes, you DON'T want snow, at least in my experience; all 3 that i've had/have HATE cold rain/snow. HATE it. one reason i went w/GSD for my pup, who, BTW, thinks nothing of sleeping put in the rain when it's 45F out--he's perfectly happy

and before anyone accuses (sp?) me of abuse, he could've easily come into the *dry*, but chose not to. he's such a tough boy

Ann I too had a GSD that would rather sleep on top of his dog house than inside it. I think he was showing me how tough he was. Oh by the way before someone says something about his mental capabilities, he was the smatest dog that I have ever had. Well maybe :lol:
