Try a quality CBD oil. I just put the drops in her mouth or on her food. It even helps some topically.
Itchy Bitch
I have a 3 yo Malinois bitch who has had itchy skin since we picked her up from the breeder. It got so bad she was biting through her skin.
I have tried supplements, shots, shampoos, acupuncture, novel proteins (we feed raw). The only thing that continues to work is Apoquel.
I have tried to cut the Apoquel back to ½ a pill a day, as per vet, and while it works for a while, it stops being as effective over time. ½ a pill doesn't seem to be a long term answer. The vet has no idea.
I'm open to any suggestions.
