years ago when I visited Europe I looked for sch clubs where ever we stayed . In most cases just walking to the local convince store or gas station and simply asking People were very friendly clubs were outstanding most older people did not speak English well or preferred to use someone to translate I also had a couple Schutzhund USA magazines with me these hade European breeders . It really was not hard to find a club . Of course times change . Once at a club just being a friendly dumb American would get you into conversation most young people new English well so it was easy . There may be dog books now . I don’t know how to contact the SV IE Schafer hundred club whic is the registry I don’t like to say similar to AKC. It’s not at all nearly every working breed has clubs especially GSD. And Mals breeding was very carefully controlled if you are lucky you might run into a trial . If so go to it and ask questions .
IGP clubs Belgium
Hello! I am moving to Belgium and looking for an IGP club anywhere in the country (willing to drive for a good club) but can’t seem to find any. I’m getting my first working german shepherd for IGP in 2024 and am hoping to find some clubs that I could ideally visit before getting the dog - please help!
