did you approach people and ask them to moderate or have people asked you to do it and then you picked from among those who wanted it?

i just want to know if i should feel slighted...

I picked people who I thought could be impartial/impersonal and had specific expertise in certain areas, breeding, health etc.

not me. i have been a moderator at a VERY large message board with a mostly teenage user group and if you take the task seriously, it is a TON of work. being a fairly small message board with mature adults, this isn't nearly the work, but it does limit what you can do/say in many instances.

i'm glad somebody wanted to do it... :wink:

You got that SO right, Tim, about huge boards. I mod a couple other boards, and I hardly ever log on except to "break it up" or delete some political or advertising crap.

I looooove this board. It's like....... I don't know ..... like grownups!
