Are the elves turning the crank on the server down there in Florida? Page load times are sucking wind over the last few days...all these double posts, etc. make me think others are having the same problem.

EXACTLY! I thought I was particularly dumb today, but there are tons of double-posts, and I'm taking breaks in between posts cuz they're taking soooo long to register. What gives? :? I'm glad I didn't smash the company computer... :wink:

I'll email the host I dunno what's going on, I think it's their database server more than anything.... getting on my nerves too but I've had zero time to deal with anything all week.

FWIW, if you all have Firefox as your internet browser (and you should :wink: )you can open multiple tabs to post a response and then go read stuff.

What I've actually found is that you don't even have to wait for the confirmation page for a post to be entered. I think this is where the double posts are coming from -- my posts are entered within seconds of hitting the Submit button, but it just sits on the post editing page. I check the Daily Topics page in a 2nd tab to confirm that my post was entered, n it always is.
