So when's she getting married and moving out?

How cool that her birthday is the same day her daddy graduates from the Army's school of "learning how to say *just* enough without outright lying"

ROFL! You're wrong...

She's moving out to her uncle's this weekend, apparently, where she intends to find her husband. Then when she's 6, she's moving in with her Papa (my dad), and when she's 7 she'll move to Nana's (my mother). Then she wants to come home for a few years before making the circuit again.

She always gets what she wants for her birthday: her daddy  . He walked through the door on her 2nd birthay after being in Iraq 5 months -- surprise! He only missed her 3rd birthday b/c of deployment and even then he was able to schedule a VTC for THAT day. Wish he had the same level of committment to MY birthday LOL.

I keep fishing around for a better headshot of Little Princess...the only one I could find was at Christmas this past year.

This one does show how short she is (the rolled up pant legs -- those pants ought to be fitting 3-4 year olds). Poor baby is only 3'3" . Her 2 1/2 year old sister is only about 1.5" shorter now.

Anyway....we're going to have a quiet day today and then she's having a Dragon Tales party Saturday and we're taking her to Carowinds on Sunday. And she's getting tons of gifts lol. The UPS guy has made a lot of trips to my house lately...

Beautiful girl, Stacia. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARISSA!
Sounds like you have a wonderful weekend planned!! Carowinds sounds fun; I haven't been in a couple of years. The Borg ride is AWESOME!!!! Carowinds doesn't offer free admission to military members like Busch Gardens, but if you buy your tickets online, they are 30% off.

We actually got 50% off buying them through the travel agency at Ft. Jackson. Not free, but not bad either (it came out to $28/ticket, and Elena is free b/c of her age). I didn't mind so much since we didn't plan a party for Carissa this year and her birthday present is resuming dance lessons which don't start back up unti August (delayed gratification doesn't work well with 5 year olds LOL).

We did the free Busch Gardens 3 summers ago and that was nice...except that part where I was 7 months pregnant and it was 99 degrees out there! And Carissa was only 2 and there wasn't a whole lot she could participate in.
What a sweetheart! My grandpop hug reflexes are in overtime here.
