what do you think of this pedigree?

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/7/350086.html

i met this dog a couple weeks ago and even at 10, he's a bruiser. talk about a full CRUSHING grip on the sleeve. he has all the energy and drive of a 2 year old dog, but his body, sadly, is not keeping up. he's a big boy (about 100 lbs) and he's starting to get the hip/spine thing going...

I'm not familiar with most of the dogs in the pedigree, but interesting to note the dog is 4 - 5 Gildo vom Körbelbach.

Apparently Gildo's training was very bad and he was nearly an out of control dog, but a very strong SOB. Certainly he produced Arek Stoffelblick who is a favourite and another strong dog. Korbelbach dogs are known for being hard. Half of my dog's ped is linebred on Gildo as well and he's got most of the characteristics down (including being incredibly ugly) as well.

haha. yes, this dog is not a looker. part of that is the dog has a messed up ear. had some kind of health issue with it. it doesn't stand up and is about half the size of the other. he was not born this way, and it isn't genetic (i forget exactly what caused it)...

 Mine has the tall, leggy, hyena look, and I think he has a humpback. Couple that with the legendary Mink head (no stop) and a colour that looks like he was thrown in a mudpit and pulled out tail first (a really messy sort of black and tan). My kind of dog, though. Nobody would think twice about petting him, and he delivers where it matters. ;) ;)

Tim I own a full brother of Ulli's, Xandor vom Haus Sevens. Xandor is from a different litter and is a couple of years younger. LOL not sure I would call Xandor ugly though!
The dam of Ulli and Xandor is also the dam of Zidane vom Haus Sevens so she's produced very well.
