Connie invited me over here, and i've been nosing around for a couple of days - thought I'd say hello.

I'm president of DFW Working Dogs in Dallas, and have taken my first dog, Cael, to SchH 2, with more titles to come.

I've been looking around for a new puppy, and in a strange turn of events i just found out that I have a new 8.5 week old bundle of joy that will be waiting for me when I get home from my business trip on Friday. Her name is Fly and she's out of Eros vd Mohnwiese and Cenna 't Palmaleineof. I can't wait to meet her.

I'll hopefully have some pics to post soon.

Congratulations on your new girl! AND on your Cael, too, with his SchH 2 (and more titles to come)!!

I'm happy you've joined in, Chris, and I know everyone else will be, too.

update - been a while

Been absent and busy for a while, so I thought I'd offer an update.

"The Boy" a.k.a. Cael, is now a SchH3 IPO3, and while I will probably trial him a few more times and try for an FH at some point, it's time to start focusing on "The Girl" a.k.a. Fly. She just turned 1 year old and so far shows the makings of a superstar. Pre-lim x-rays at Christmas looked good, and she's got more drive than I know what to do with most days.

I've heard it happens with human kids, too - but I have been much less camera happy with her than my first dog (that and she doesn't ever stand still. or sleep.). But there's a photo of her at 6 months and her pedigree at this link (she's #7 if you scroll down).

That's it. Hope to stop in a little more often.
