This is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it is just fine for what I do. Still have to travel some but it is wonderful news. And I will get to alternate between my B/T, Blanket Black and Sable slippers \/ Where is that dancing banana NOW?

Now a question. Since I need to set up a separate phone line

Does anyone have VOIP phone service? The company will cover my long distance but, to be honest, the cost of VOIP service with unlimited long distance is less than the cost of an addittional land line and there are services that will forward calls if the cable internet is down.

I have only had the internet service for about a month and it has been reliable - same company providing the cable is phone and tv and we have had reliable service for years.

My mother uses the VOIP with pretty good results for her real estate business. Of course, every IP is different...

Nancy, I work at home, and CONGRATS!

I'm afraid to switch to Comcast Voice. The cable (Internet and TV) are usually very reliable, but we have patches of intermittent service that last sometimes for days.
