The sport is slowly spreading. There is only now a group forming within 5 hours of me with Duhon's move to southern NC. I train primarily alone anyway and have been driving from VA to GA and Fla for trials. It's still definitly hugging the coast at this point, though. As people see what an awesome sport it is, it will continue to grow!

Well, the fastest way to spread it would be to buy yourself a rule book and a CD from a trial, get a group together and start training! Perhaps others are as frustrated with the mediocre Schutzhund groups in the area as well? Granted, the training as from an entirely different mentality and it might be hard-pressed to convince you'r helpers to change their perspective, but maybe worth a shot?
