I know of a Rottie that needs to go to a new home. The dog was purchased as a family pet but the dog is too much dog for the family. He is good with the teenage family members and fine with the family, but he is dog aggressive and people aggressive. If you eyeball the dog he bows up or goes off on you, a very forward dog. Never tested in bitework but I'll bet the dog has potential. The family has decided to rehome the dog because they do not have the skill required to handle a large aggressive dog. Lots of food drive, AKC (Limited) papers (although the papers were never filed by the current owner, he does have the registration forms).

The dog is a good looking dog, bred in Clermont FL, suitable for a strong handler. Would probably have to come to Orlando to pick up the dog. We are looking for a local home right now, can probably stall the guy from taking the dog to a shelter for maybe a week or so.

How long can this family safely hang onto the dog? Can the dog safely be transported? (rescue volunteers each drive the dog partway to a destination - like a relay)
