Has anybody ever used any of their french linen tug toys? If so, what did you think of them?

Yes, I have the smaller two-handed tugs, about 3" in diameter, and then pocket tugs that are 12x2ish and one-handled. The small ones have proven to be quite robust in the few weeks that I've had them...lots of tug/fetch games with my dog in the snow, they've gotten soaked and frozen many times over already. And I like 4dogtrainers.com, used them a few times now for various stuff, they have about the best deal on harnesses around. I meant to just by one tug to try it out but they really dump on the "...for a few dollars more..." deals that I cannot resist. Spent about $40 inc. shipping for the four I have now. :wink:

Sorry, meant to say agitation harnesses, specifically. I really like mine, added the optional handle.

Konnie, look at the Gold Coast k9 products also. I have several of their suit tugs. I have had them for about 1 1/2 years. They seem to hold up well. I have the 12x2 one handle ones

the list for tugs etc are way down on the bottom on the right hand side of the main screen. I have the suit tugs & actually I've has them for over 2 years.

I hope that this linc works. I have is saved as a favotite.

I just received my tugs in the mail today (ordered them on the 15th, they were sent UPS Ground).

I ordered four of the 1-handled puppy tugs. Overall, they seem pretty sturdy. Although its not specified on the website, they are pretty stiff as far as tug toys go. I'm assuming they'll soften up over time/use. I wouldn't recommend a brand new one for a really young puppy, unless you have a really strong biter. It would need to be broken in a little for a young pup to get a good grip.

I'll keep y'all posted on how they stand up to Ace's tugging. He's not the hardest biter, but he's a tugging maniac. Just for reference, the tugs we had been using were the leather tugs from Bridgeport Equipment. I just didn't like them because they're slimy when wet.
