I’m needing to retire my current service dog early because of an injury that is causing arthritis. I have another dog that I tried to train as a service dog but she’s too high strung and too protective of me. She snapped at my boss while she was training. I need to get a third dog but my husband says it’s unnecessary. I tried explaining to him that I cannot in good conscience continue working my current dog. He then went to my parents and now he and my parents are ganging up on me. I’ve had two therapists agree that a service dog would help me.
