Trying to get more experience editing Wikipedia pages...here is the entry for working dogs:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Working_dogs

What would you change/add/delete etc? This one's much better than some of the other entries of interest to you all...the Schutzhund page in particular is brutal:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schutzhund

Let me know or edit yourself, curious to see what you all would change.

I made some edits related to search dogs

Did not like the tracking dog but did not want to get into the nuances of tracking vs trailing and police tracking/trailing work vs search trailing

It would be good to pull out the thing about locating missing animals there I hate seeing them in the same sentence ... reason I hate that is we get regular calls to help somebody find *fluffy* and that is not what we do - we go out of our way to train or dogs to ignore animal scents. But there are people who do that.

Edit away! I'd like to take each particular section and build it out (SAR, orgs in SAR, popular notions with SAR, breeds of SAR, etc....). Wikipedia is pretty light on good working dog stuff...mostly because you all are out mostly working dogs! But this is a nice chance to get info of record out there and hopeful dispell misconceptions, etc. You can make as many brutal edits and deletions as you want, though it helps to cite justification (published works, etc.) for doing so.
