he's a cool dog, too! like i said, we took some pics last night that (i hope) will turn out well. the second one here was w/camera phone, so that's why it's blurry, but it shows his color and his head kinda well..

unfortunately, i don't have a digital camera yet (it's on my christmas list though!), so we make do with one-time use for the moment.

took him 3 times of "by-heel", luring w/treats against a wall for him to figure THAT out, BTW. now we're working on "by-heel" and "wait". he has the "wait down pretty well. it's just combining that w/cat coming in under his nose that makes it interesting  .

i'm OT..later... :)

What a cutie.

You will like it when you get a digital camera.

I like my Kodak camera but HATE the Kodak software and the fact that the videos are only in Quicktime. Consider the interface when you do get one.

I love my Nikon S6, but the downside is the QuickTime format videos. I paid for QuickTime Pro so I can convert the videos to AVI, a more managable format. If you have or have access to a Mac, use iMovie for QuickTime videos. I never use software that comes with a camera, I hate the crap they ship cameras with.

Anyway lets not make this a discussion about digital cameras

i wish i would've had the camera this afternoon: my son and i were on a huge garage-cleaning trip, and brix, of course, had to help out (he kept sneaking away with my witch's broom--chewed 90% of the bristles off).

it was sprinkling this a.m. (5 a.m.) when we first went out, and it just kept up all day, even harder. so, by the time we went down to the garage, we'd had 2" already, it was still coming down, steady.

my brix, after he was done shredding my broom, killing buckets and pop bottles, simply curled up in the yard, in the rain, and watched us in the *dry* garage. he was perfectly happy out in the rain. i told the kids that THAT is a true shepherd--who cares what the weather is? 55 degrees F+, a little rain, no biggie!! 8)

he really IS cool, and i really am in love :p (don't think i'm sicker than i am!!)
