BEAUTIFUL!!!!

My granddogs (the BTs) are--- I think it's called brindle? Not solid color.

These are great-looking dogs!
connie, the color I think you'r referring to is called grizzled and tan. Here's a dissapearing view of my old war horse, Rags. Now passed. He was grizzled and tan.

That's it! Milo is exactly that color -- same as Rags. That was the word: Grizzled!

Cool picture, Bob.
Rags in his prime.

He is absolutely wonderful, Bob. That's a working dog!
Pete, Polly and Thunder in the front yard. Obviously, from the look on Polly, she had no use for the new "upstart" sitting that close to her.

What a great photo!!!

Yes, Polly looks disdainful.
This is the pic that should have folowed the first of Rags entering the den.
Go ahead....tell me I'm not having a good time here!

This is how I spent many an evening after a long dig. The pic is ten yrs old. That's Pete (JRT) as a pup, along with two Borders, Rags and Polly, along with a lovable, but useless CH Norwich, Grizzly. Griz would actually swallow mice he caught. That's a HUGE no no to terrier men. He also had no use for REAL earth work. We still loved him though.

rags is a SWEET looking dog. if i ever get a small dog, it will definately be a terrier of some sort...
Tim, Rags was truely a real, kicka$$ dog when it came to hunting, but the Borders are very people soft as a rule. Rags could be crushed with a harsh word, but would always get the job done in the ground. The Borders are also the easiest terriers to get along with other dogs.

I would agree 100% with that.

That bottom photo with a lapful of terriers.........Rags does look like Milo in that picture. It's funny how they can change color quite a bit depending on whether they need or have just had stripping.

Great pics, BTW. I love GSDs and BTs..... my two faves!
