Hi Ingrid, yesterday i met 2 acd's in person, first time i've ever seen an acd, one was dark (like the lower right dog in your pic) and one was blk and tan. It was in the laydown yard at a crane company. They were really friendly and playful. I wouldn't mind owning one like the ones i met, they were bouncing all over the place  , cool dogs though,

Beautiful dogs Ingrid all of them and nice to put a face to the name too.

What are Heelers? ( she asks with a  ) They look like Australian Cattle dogs.
Out here in ranch country we see these ACDs all the time working cattle and such.Everyone here calls them heelers because they always go for the cow's heels. Some cowdogs go for the head instead.
We call them red heelers and blue heelers
