Hello everyone!

My name is Inge and I'm from the Netherlands.
I've got 3 dogs, all female

My first dog is Nika, a boxer which is 6 years old.

Nika is my couch-warmer

My second dog is Marouck van de Vastenow, a dutch shepherd which is 3 years old

We're training IPO.

My youngest dog is Efi Biène van de Emmelenhoek (Biène), a malinois which is now 8 months old.

She will be trained in the KNPV, just like her mother and her father
We started last week with this

Typing in English is hard so I will probably read more then write

People ask me if I think in Dutch or English... I think in both, I think English when I speak English, and I think dutch when I speak dutch... there is no mental translation involved, it's just there. I blame my parents  I feel strange if I talk to my parents in English.

Now the cool thing about English is that nobody can speak it properly anyway, so it doesn't matter if you make mistakes :D :D :D

mmm are you antillian or dutch? I know you travelled a lot (parents in diplomatic service or Shell or something?)
You´re really multilingual, I think in dutch and translate it in english.

And forgot to mention, I asked about your dog because next Thursday I'll be picking up my Vastenow puppy at the airport :D Out of Aron Avanstien PH1 x O'Storm v.d Vastenow, in the last few weeks I keep finding people who have dutch shepherds, those dogs fascinate me!

My dad worked for Shell for 25 or 30 years, I was born in Curacao, read lots of suske en wiske :D :D And in January this year was the first time I ever wrote more than 3 words of dutch, my post on the KNPV forum took me about 30 minutes to write   I think i've gotten a little better since then... now I don't need to think for 30 minutes to make mistakes

Never lived in Holland though, and haven't been there in 9 years.... wait, maybe 7 years, I think I went there for a few days in 99 to see my uncle in Eindhoven.

Aron is a fantastic dog!
I have seen him on his PH1-keuring and on his object-keuring.
The owner visites our IPO-club now and then  and I have heard that he has a pup from this nest also (or from the earlier nest with a vastenow bitch :? )
In june we have a contest on the KNPV-club and Nico is one of the contestors with Aron

I'd love to see that dog one day, I've only seen photos, but I have heard he is a very nice dog. I know there was a bitch before O'Storm that was bred to Aron, I think only a few months before O'Storm. Houwy maybe? I don't remember. The information isn't on the website anymore.

If anyone knows anyone else that is training a dog out of my puppy's litter from O'Storm, I'd love to know how they're doing as they get older, so if anyone in your club has an O'Storm/Aron puppy tell them to keep in touch with me. It's always nice to see where the littermates are and what they're doing.
