This is a 1 1/2 year old mix that was an owner-surrender to the shelter, so she'll never "grow into" her ears!

Do you think it's possible she has some Pharaoh Hound in the woodpile? I know PH ears are not quite so erect as those on your rescue, but the ears are kinda similar...
Mike, that's what I thought, too, but I have no idea what she is a mix of. She's a cutie, but Lordy!

Where's that photo from Mike's "Which of these is a Dutchie?" thread. I think that's a cross between the tricolor thingie that someone posted and Lyka hee hee.

Those are humungous ears...I have never seen anything like that.
She's very small, only about 20 pounds I think. They said at the shelter that they had her listed as a Boston terrier mix because she was brindle and small, and they didn't know of any other small breeds that were brindle. I don't see any Boston in her, do you?
I would like to ammend my previous statement...

I think she's a GSD/Dutchie/Pig cross.

She's an American bred dingo,

LOL she's not ugly at all, I think she's awesome... but the ears remind me of the pig

Make sure she doesn't eat your baby! ;)
Now there's a poster child for the pro crop group if I ever saw one.
Toss on a few white splotches and you've got yerself a Cape Hunting Dog.
She looks like she's part Basenji to me. Basenji's come in brindle too and that might also account for her small size and short coat.

She was adopted yesterday, and a lady that works at the shelter got a video since a couple of people swore that the photos had been photoshopped and that she wasn't real. Kinda hard to photoshop a video, though, so here it is for all the 'nonbelievers'

Sorry it's so dark. :?

I am so glad to hear she was adopted!!!!!!!!
Look what I found, you are much better off with a dog with big ears instead of this screeming one! They say he is trying to be a cat
