OK, after searching the internet and downloading useless free software, I'm just about to give up.

How do I pull an audio track off a CD and convert it to a .wav file so I can attach it to my dog videos?

The Windows Movie Maker software won't recognize .cda files and the converter software I have on my computer won't convert them.

Anybody know how to do this (or if its even possible)?

Thanks!

You can use Windows Media Player to "rip" audio tracks from a CD, it will rip it to WMA format unless you change the settings to do it to MP3, but WMA will work fine in windows movie maker so you shouldnt have to touch anything.
