A forum member forwarded this to me this morning (as well as to another forum), and I am very tardy about posting it here. I apologize for taking so long.

QUOTE from a forum member:

Warning: beautiful music, but very intense photos:

I've watched this 3 times tonight, just trying to think of what to say. I still can't. The guy is a miracle.
Just showed my wife this about five minutes ago. I feel the same way.
You know, his courage and will to fight are amazing, but I think another amazing thing is the power of love in his wife to be with him through the terrible recovery period!! It takes a lot of man to survive those injuries, but it takes a whole lot more woman to stand helplessly by, simply being there for comfort and company.

My sediments exactly. My wife and I first saw Officer Jason (and his family)
on one of those reality "medical wonder" shows - how Jason is a true hero!
And his wife!

I haven't watched the whole movie from Connie's link, but seeing the TV
show I've mentioned above, watching Jason cuddling w/his son after he was
able to return to work was moving & inspiring.
I believe this officer was on a segment of the police reality show "First 48".
