I know the Dogtra 1100 and 1200 series collars have been discontinued, but can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 1100 and 1200 units? The only thing I could find was that the remote is waterproof with the 1200. Everything else looked to be identical. :?:

It might be range of transmitter & max level of stimulation. It may also not be fully waterproof or for working dogs, may be geared more toward pets with less stubborn personalities. I have a 1702 NCP(1700 NCP-2 dog) with a max stem level of 127 & I believe it is a 1/2 mile range. Designed for working dogs with stubborn attitudes. Go to the dogtra web site or call dogtra & ask them. They are helpful & knowledgable about their products. At least they have been for me. They are in California & have a 800 tel number.

I found out that the only differences between the 1100 and 1200 was that the 1200 had a waterproof remote and you could get the pager feature with the 1200 if you wanted. They got too expensive on Ebay so I guess I'll just stick to my 202NCP
