The default resizing is to 1024 x 768, I believe (which is hardly small, it's the entire screen size on the desktop I'm currently using). If the picture is the right size on your computer but is small once uploaded, then somewhere along the way you accidentally resized it. Try deleting the shrunken pics, uploading them again (check the upload settings on photobucket to make sure it doesn't resize to anything smaller than 1024x768!) and linking them again. As for posting the pics, this forum takes all the brainwork out of it for ya. There's an "Insert Image" icon above the text box. It's a little yellow icon, kinda looks like a little stamp with mountains on it Click on that and it'll ask you for the image URL. You can then see the image in the post you're typing up and even resize it too, I think. Don't even need to figure out the code to post, all you need is the image's url.

| Re: How to post pics? If you have the photos on your computer, just down load the Easy Thumbnails software and you can format them to any size you want. Follow the instructions on the thread and upload them. |

| Re: How to post pics? well, in my defense, 1) yeah i'm a cheap b#^ch, i mean, why pay for something i don't have to? and 2) i'm a victim of the "recession", so REALLY why pay for something i don't have to?? connie and yuko--thanks for the tips, i do have (one) other email acc't i can open up flickr on, and then you guys will get to see more pics of my soon-to-be certified robin-herding GSD adam, i'll check out that easythumbnails deal. i think there's actually an easy way to post pics straight from my laptop, but the kids are "too busy" to show me.......maybe 5 or 10 yrs fr now if i wait on them, lol |
