Flickr may limit your album size (y'know, if you're one of 'em "cheap bastards", like myself ), but there's no limit to how many accounts you can make. As Connie said, all it takes is an e-mail address (and you can get millions of those for free at yahoo). Take me, I have millions of accounts at flickr and several at photobucket too. No, it's not some weird compulsion, I just happen to take far too many pictures of my dogs. And of course once a picture is taken, it must be preserved forever.

Hillary: did you maybe accidentally resize your pictures and shrink them with photobucket?
The default resizing is to 1024 x 768, I believe (which is hardly small, it's the entire screen size on the desktop I'm currently using). If the picture is the right size on your computer but is small once uploaded, then somewhere along the way you accidentally resized it. Try deleting the shrunken pics, uploading them again (check the upload settings on photobucket to make sure it doesn't resize to anything smaller than 1024x768!) and linking them again.

As for posting the pics, this forum takes all the brainwork out of it for ya. There's an "Insert Image" icon above the text box. It's a little yellow icon, kinda looks like a little stamp with mountains on it

Click on that and it'll ask you for the image URL. You can then see the image in the post you're typing up and even resize it too, I think.

Don't even need to figure out the code to post, all you need is the image's url.

Re: How to post pics?

If you have the photos on your computer, just down load the Easy Thumbnails software and you can format them to any size you want. Follow the instructions on the thread and upload them.

Re: How to post pics?

connie and yuko--thanks for the tips, i do have (one) other email acc't i can open up flickr on, and then you guys will get to see more pics of my soon-to-be certified robin-herding GSD

adam, i'll check out that easythumbnails deal. i think there's actually an easy way to post pics straight from my laptop, but the kids are "too busy" to show me.......maybe 5 or 10 yrs fr now if i wait on them, lol
