How many pages?

| How many pages? This is really not all that important, but I've been wondering about it for a while. Mike said that the bloodhound thread, for example, was, what 16 pages? On my computer, it's only 4. There have been similar instances in the past, where someone has mentioned that a particular thread was 5 or 6 pages and it was only 1 or 2 on my computer. What's the deaL?

| Re: How many pages? Being nearly computer ignorant, I couldn't explain why that is. I know on my computer it's 16 pages. DFrost

| Re: How many pages? How many posts is do you have the site set to show? I think that there is the option in your profile to where you can set it to show a certain number of posts on a page....that may be why. YEP...just checked Go to your profile and click "edit options" scroll almost to the bottom and you will see it....I have mine set to "forum default" and that makes that particular thread 16 pages. You can choose up to "show 40 pages".

| Re: How many pages? Ahh. I must have changed that option at some point and forgot about it. So why don't more people do it? Makes reading through the longer threads much easier!

| Re: How many pages? I find shorter pages easier. If I read a thread and have to scroll down endlessly I'll stop reading at post 4. Aw who am I kidding. I stop reading by post 2 most of the time anyway  |
