displaying first unread post

I have been trying to figure out how to do this, and it is probably very obvious and I keep missing it. But how do you set the preference so when you open a thread it goes to the first unread post? Is it possible?

You click on the little blue square with what looks like a downward arrow, directly to the left of the title of the thread.
