I am taking the plunge and buying a new Demanet... so I will be selling my old buddy... curious if anybody is interested. The suit is probably 20 years old now but it is the suit that I continue to use. It's an old Gallais FR suit, training pants with a comp top. I have added custom made covers to the jacket so it can be used for training with good protection. The inside of the suit is beat up and shows signs of its age and the outside of the pants are definitely used, some fraying, but still have lots of life left in them. The jacket has lots of life left in it and the covers are in great shape. The suit would fit someone up to about 5-10 maybe a bit taller and probably around 210lbs or so. I am 5-8 175 and the suit has always been a bit big on me (especially the length of the arms). I never minded the extra length in the legs as it left plenty of room for crotch bites. To be honest if Gallais still made suits I would buy another one in a heartbeat, the material has absolutely stood the test of time, I love the way the suit is cut and having a suit so broken in is great. I used the pants (with a Demanet semi-comp top) for the PSA midwest regionals this past summer. Even though the pants are training weight, they are so broken in now I can run in them better than semi-comp pants and even many comp pants. I will only be asking 400$ for suit plus whatever it costs to ship it. I want whoever is interested to know what they are getting so I will describe the condition more indepth via phone.
