| Friends of mine looking to adopt nice family dog Friends of mine recently lost their 6 year old GSD to cancer. He was an awesome family dog who was great with their kids, yet protective of their home/property. They are heartbroken. They asked me to keep my eyes open for a rescue or freebie GSD (who is of course great with young kids) needing a good home. If anybody knows of such a dog in the Fairfield County, Connecticut area or within reasonable driving distance, please PM me. These people will take exceptional care of a dog - their now-deceased GSD was treated like royalty.
