2 Year Old Female Rottweiler

My current foster is a two year old female Rottweiler named Dolly. I posted her since she would make an excellent therapy dog prospect with some additional training, which I'll start with her as soon as she gets over kennel cough. She'd do great in a moderately active pet home (she's about 10-15 lbs overweight and is already starting to tone up a bit), but I'd sure like to see her go as a therapy dog to be a good breed ambassador. Rottweilers need all the good press they can get these days!! Here's the write up I did for her Petfinder profile, which should be posted soon:

Dolly is a very sweet young Rottweiler who is a true ambassador for her breed. She is crate trained and seems house trained with no accidents so far. We went to Award Pet Supply and Orscheln's Farm Supply [a local pet store and a local feed store...we also went in to a Jiffy Lube today to get an oil change and car wash and she did just great] and she just wanted to be loved on by everyone who met her, both men and women. She's got the Rottie lean down very well! She met some neighborhood kids aged 4-8 on a walk while they playing street hockey and did just great with them, even though there was a lot of noise and commotion with the hockey sticks. She rides great in the car. Not sure about cats in the house, but she's pretty much ignored the ferret and rat cage and the outdoor cat next door. Dolly gets along great with the dogs in the house, but she doesn't like if they crowd her at feeding time, so feeding her separately in a crate would be ideal. She liked being brushed and her nails were easy to trim. She knows sit and we will start other obedience training with her.
