10 month old Male Dutchie

Hello all,

I was put in contact several days ago with a lady here in Tallahassee, FL who has a 10 month old male Dutchie that she needs to find a home for. I met the dog briefly, hes confident and friendly with people and other dogs. He showed some drive on a tug but the current owners have never introduced him to any drive building or object motivation. They purchased him (I believe) at 6 months and it did not sound like the seller had done much at all with him either. There was enough there to build upon, but it would definitely be safest to place him in a home that is not banking on a future podium placement. The owner said he will alert well around the house but I'm not sure about personal protection potential. Apparently he gets very excited around the husband and will urinate submissively /(excitedely?) and this is the reason they are placing the dog. My assumption is that the dog was a "leftover" from the breeder because his ears do not stand correctly. They do not flop like a lab, but they lay more like a shepherd puppy where one moment they turn out, the next they're flopped in together and so on. Otherwise, hes a handsome boy, probably currently about 60/65lbs and a medium/dark brindle. I'll try to get her to send some pictures. If anyone knows of a potential home looking for a very sweet dutchie, let me know!
