When it's time.

I've been working with my new Bouvier puppy, from my breeding, and I'm am shocked at how she looks like a Giant Schnauzer. As she is moving about and her reactions to me, it reminds me of the male I had and the time I had to put him down. This has got me thinking about the subject of death and when is the time to let them go. I believe in living life and enjoying it to the fullest. The many blessings that we get are no accident. I'm always thankful for the K-9 blessings which have been in my life and the new one I have now.

So when do you know when it's THE time to put your dog/friend/training partner down? When do you write the final chapter and sing the "Happy Trails" song?
