Angry My dog locked in the car!!

I know we recently had a thread about how people leave their dogs in the car normally with it running if they need to leave for a second so I thought you may get a kick out of my bad day.

Today I put my GS in my car, had the air-conditioning going at full blast and the emergency brake on just in case he was able to get to the front and fiddle around with stuff.
I locked the car with my keyless entry and went into the store. I was in there no more then 8 minutes.
I came back out and clicked my keyless entry thing and…. IT DID NOT WORK!!

I walked around the car trying all the doors. I tried to squeeze my arm in the window to get to the lock button but the window wasn’t down far enough… I didn’t want to let the air out.

YEP I have the BEST LUCK EVER!

So there I was freaked out looking around for something heavy in case I was going to be forced to break the window.
AAA had me on hold for 15 minutes! Then when they finally answered she asked if I could hold again and said my wait may be 30 minutes!!

I hung up on them and had the Orange Fire Department come down. So here came the huge fire truck with 5 guys. All of them very sweet and understanding. It took them 15-20 minutes to get into my car.

They asked me some questions about my GS and how he was trained and other things they smiled and left.

Someone told me I was lucky they didn’t charge me b/c it could have been 500.00??

SO THAT WAS MY HEART ATTACK for the day!!!

Valentino was fine and it was acutally pretty chilly in the car when we got him out thank goodness!!

(I plan on bringing them something nice this week along with a thankyou card with a pic of vallie on the inside...its the least I can do!)
