I do the obedience work as part of a walk and alternate between control and free times. I include the publix that is close to my house in the walk and spend maybe 15-20 minutes there, it is a busy place and great for the dog to observe people.

Today is a windy and cold day in Fort Lauderdale. I had the dog doing a sit stay. The wind picked up a nylon shopping back and was pushing it directly towards the dog making rustling noises against the ground. I had enough time to wonder whether my dog will hold the stay as the bag rushed by him. Just before reaching the dog the wind lifted up the bag and put it right on the dogs face. The bag stuck there on the dogs face and the dog didn't move. He just started moving his head from left to right but the bag still stayed put. The dog started mouthing it from the inside, I could see his mouth opening and closing through the plastic bag. At that point I started laughing and the dog broke the sit stay and came to me. I kept chuckling for a while. It was a good time.
