| Cinch It Collars I noticed a design problem with Cinch It collars. This issue was also discussed on another forum. Others have had similar experiences. For those of us that are using the Cinch It collar with ecollars this could get expensive. The slide lock can easily move to the unlocked position. In my case it happens regularly when my dog scratches his neck. Others have reported a variety of ways the collar lock can slide into the unlocked position. My dog's collar came completely off the other night. I contacted the manufacturer. I spoke directly with one of the owners. She never heard of this problem before but she was all ears and quite concerned. We even discussed ways to cure the situation like a cover over the slide lock. I suspect there will be some changes made to this great collar. I am posting this so people with this collar keep a close eye on the lock and save themselves the potential expense of replacing a ecollar receiver. |
