| Anybody have any ideas for training a deaf dog? I have a friend that has a young 20 month deaf female Australian Shepherd. I've given him some ideas about communicating with his dog. The one that made the most sense to me was a Dogtra e-collar with the page as well as a prong as a backup. He is thinking he would like to try agility with her and possibly some sheep herding. The dog itself is a nice dog but has some Dog aggression problems, but good with family members and other humans once introduced. I'm not sure why the dog would be DA as she was never attacked he says. I'm wondering if it is the deafness had a part in that or could it be something else that makes her DA. Any other ideas that could help my friend out for properly training, exercising and interacting with her?
